Waka Flocka Shot in Robbery Attempt
Waka Flocka Flame, the artist made famous for his frequent collaborations with Gucci Mane and the underground hit "O Let's Do It", was shot earlier today (January 19, 2010) in Atlanta during a robbery attempt. Reportedly in critical condition, the rapper whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, was at a gas station when a group of gunmen approached him demanding his chain. After refusing to give up his jewelry, he was shot twice. Different reports say he sustained injuries from being hit in the chest while others say he was hit in the arm and a bullet traveled to his ribs. The story is still developing.
